LASTING CHANGE HAITI

Beginning with the principle that each person holds intrinsic value in the eyes of our Lord, Lasting Change aims to honor that innate value through empowering love and opportunities that build dignity and self worth. Each program and forward step begins with a perspective that aims to help individuals or communities without ultimately hurting them. We believe that the life-changing message of Jesus can transform hearts and the direction of a life, a family, a whole community. And so in all we do, whether it be teaching or training, savings groups, poverty alleviation efforts, all Is centered around sharing the gospel. We also believe in the power of community and group teaching and learning, healing can happen when we are in community with each other, building trust and sharing in the tasks of life.

HOPE IN HAITI

Hope in Haiti works with the poorest of the poor in rural Haitian communities that are not being reached through any other organization.

LE PERISTYLE HAITIAN SANCTUARY

We are a Sanctuary (Humofor) of the Voodoo religion of Haiti dedicated to the upliftment of all people through the ancient spiritual arts of African-based faith. We believe that God is everywhere and not only present in one faith and our spiritual services are offered to all regardless of faith, tradition or background. Our ministry is based on serving the community by providing upliftment in all areas of life.

HOUSE OF HOPE HAITI

The House of Hope Haiti is a Christian ministry working in Haiti. The ministry is dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus by providing food, shelter, clothing, and both Christian and secular education to the children of Haiti. We are a 501(c)3 public charity and 100% of your donations go to ministry in Haiti. U.S. administrative costs are paid out-of-pocket or are donated for that purpose.

HOUSES FOR HAITI

Houses for Haiti is a non-profit organization dedicated to building houses for homeless families living on the streets of Cite Soleil, the poorest slum in the Western Hemisphere. With no jobs, education or public assistance, many families have no hope for ever living in a concrete dwelling. We believe that every person deserves to live in a safe environment, free from disease and filth that is ever present on the streets of Haiti.

IC-HAITI

IC-Haiti was founded in August, 2008 by the parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church in Newburyport, Massachusetts to help the poorest-of-the-poor; the people who live in the mountains of rural southern Haiti, in the town of Fond des Blanc and the immediate surrounding area. There, the per capita income is below the $1.25 per day average for the poorest countries of the world.

Hearts and Hands for Haiti (HHH) exists to promote the dignity of Haitian people by coming alongside our Haitian sisters and brothers who share the love of Christ by contributing to their communities' spiritual, educational, physical, emotional and vocational development.

INSTITUTE FOR JUSTICE AND DEMOCRACY IN HAITI INC

The Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti (IJDH) is a U.S.-based human rights non-profit organization. Established in 2004, it is a partnership of human rights advocates in Haiti and the U.S., dedicated to tackling the root causes of injustice that impacts basic human rights in Haiti. In partnership with our Haiti-based sister organization, the law firm Bureau des Avocats Internationaux (BAI), we advocate, litigate, build constituencies, and nurture networks to create systemic pathways to justice for marginalized communities in Haiti.

HANDS FOR HAITI

Hands for Haiti is a US based 501c3 non-profit that operates St. Marc School, a Catholic faith-based school in rural Northern Haiti. Our mission is to give students a hand with the basics of life, opening the doors to a brighter future for them and their families.

HANDS TOGETHER FOR HAITIANS INC

Our mission in Palm Beach County (Florida) is to assist the Haitian immigrant population with transition from living in their native country to living in the United States. This goal addresses a multitude of issues including: education, health care, language and cultural barriers, access to social resources, counseling and guidance, and meeting basic daily needs such as food requirements. Our mission in Haiti is to build sustainable programs to support those who suffer from a lack of adequate nutrition, clean water, health care, education, employment & social programs. Our philosophy is to work in solidarity with the people of Haiti. We believe in teaching the Haitian people how to fish rather than giving them fish; we are committed to helping them to help themselves. While developing sustainable projects in Haiti, we emphasize education for all people, knowing that education changes lives. Our projects focus on providing the people with opportunities for work, education, personal advancement, adequate housing, health care, clean water and sufficient food. We are a voice for the poor and insist that everyone is treated with dignity and respect in every circumstance. Our mantra is to do the will of God, with love in our hearts for everyone, everywhere!
