The journey of Centre NGO Inc began with the vision and tireless effort of remarkable individuals who believed in making a difference. Our founders’ unwavering commitment to our cause has been the cornerstone of our growth and continued success.
Debbie Jean-Jacques is an impassioned advocate for Haiti’s evolution, driving change via her Centre NGO since 2016. Emphasizing sustainability and agency, Debbie’s comprehensive education, including a Master’s in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor’s in International Business Management, informs her diverse career. Her prowess extends through data analytics, event management, and contributing to nonprofits like City Harvest and Haiti Policy House, marking her as a significant catalyst for change.
Windy Jacques is a seasoned senior program manager with a notable track record in the nonprofit sector, driving community development in the US and Haiti. Her work has shone at Diaspora Community Services as a STAR program lead educator, and currently, she brings her talents to the Brooklyn Hospital’s Path Center. Windy boasts a BS in Human Services and a Master’s in Urban Studies, specializing in Public Policy and Administration. She also contributes as a consultant for NYC’s Department of Education and runs Consult with Windy—a racial justice consultancy established amidst the pandemic.
Davidson Toussaint is a Haitian-American entrepreneur and marketing data specialist who has worked with governments and international organizations to advance development projects. His extensive experience includes being Corporate Relations Director for the Haitian education nonprofit Parole et Actions. He also partnered with the U.S. government, the UN Foundation, BID through the Ministry of Tourism, FOKAL, and the Haitian private sector to make the Tourism Innovation Summit, a northern Haitian tourism project, successful. Davidson transforms sustainable development and innovative solutions through strategic collaborations with a foundation in Business Administration, Marketing, and Business Intelligence.

Ebby Abramson is a Doctoral student in the political science program at the University of Ottawa and a research associate and editor for Endangered Scholars Worldwide. His current research systematically investigates counterterrorism policies in Europe and the United States, examining how these policies account for and impact their respective society. Abramson has worked for the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs, the New School, Cardozo School of law, and The George Washington University Elliot School of International Affairs where he specialized in Law of Conflict, International Human Rights Law, terrorism, and illicit arms trafficking. He holds a master’s degree in international affairs from the New School in New York City.
CALHERBE MONEL
Calherbe Monel, a Haitian immigrant with 30 years of U.S. experience, is a distinguished public servant and business leader. He has spearheaded business and social initiatives, directed the Minority Business Council, and played a vital role in boosting economic growth in Rockland County. Notably, he founded the Nonprofit Startup Center, which supports nonprofit and startup management. His robust education and strategic relationship-building have led to numerous accolades, showcasing his relentless determination and commitment to education, empowerment, and sustainable energy solutions.
