Our Story
Since 2016, Centre NGO has served Haitian-led and Haiti-focused organizations through nonprofit data, practical learning, research, and organizational visibility.
We build and maintain a nonprofit directory, train leaders through Global Connect for Change (GCC) and iLearn Saturday, and publish research and editorial coverage on Haiti and its diaspora.
Our mission is to transform lives through sustainable change. We pursue that mission by strengthening the information, skills, and visibility available to the organizations serving Haitian communities.

Advance diaspora-led development
Build knowledge and connections that strengthen the contributions of Haitian-led organizations across Haiti and its diaspora. Share lessons that can inform other diaspora communities.
Build practical tools for nonprofit work
Maintain and improve our nonprofit directory and develop resources that organizations can use in fundraising, governance, program planning, and day-to-day management.
Share research and sector knowledge
Publish research and analysis that document Haiti’s nonprofit landscape, examine diaspora philanthropy, and explain the conditions affecting organizations and their communities.
Make organizations more visible
Highlight organizations through directory profiles, editorial spotlights, and sector coverage. Make their missions, experiences, and contributions easier to discover.
Strengthen transparency and accountability
Document sources, explain research methods, and distinguish confirmed information from gaps in the available evidence. Encourage informed questions about the sector and its work.
Put sector knowledge into practice
