Haiti Reads believes literacy and education are essential. We gather online learning materials in various languages to promote literacy to people in Haiti and the diaspora. Our pages are available in mobile format for individuals with internet access limited to smartphones. The content is researched and compiled by volunteers but maintaining a web site and other administrative needs cost money. Please help us continue our work by donating today. Thank you!

HAITIAN ALLIANCE INC

The Haitian Bridge Alliance (HBA) also known as “The BRIDGE” is a 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit community organization that advocates for fair and humane immigration policies and provides migrants and immigrants with humanitarian, legal, and social services, with a particular focus on Black people, the Haitian community, women and girls, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and survivors of torture and other human rights abuses.

HAITI SCHOLARSHIPS

HaitiScholarships is 501(c)(3) charitable organization launched to help Haitians continue their education. It is designed to help Haitians stay in school through a scholarship program that helps them afford education. All money goes to the schools and each payment stops if the student does not maintain attendance and “good grades”

HAITIAN ALLIANCE NURSES ASSOCIATION INTERNATIONAL INC

HANA International's mission is to create a forum to empower nurses of Haitian descent worldwide and advance the profession of nursing by promoting health and well being for all through education, research, advocacy and leadership.

HAITI SCHOOL PROJECT

The Haitian people face many challenges both in advancing their country out of poverty and in meeting life’s daily demands. The long-term solution for Haiti lies in its people and institutions. Only when the Haitian people are in a position to help themselves can the country emerge from abject poverty and political turmoil. We at the Haiti School Project believe that the most effective and efficient means of promoting self-sufficiency and economic development in Haiti is through collaboration with the Haitian people on education of the next generation. We are committed to helping Haitian youth learn the skills and develop the tools to achieve personal stability and prosperity while preparing them to lead their country out of poverty and toward sustainable growth.

HAITIAN AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF ALABAMA INC

The Haitian American Association of Alabama (HAAOA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to showcasing Haitian Culture and strengthening the relationship between Haitians and Americans here and abroad. Founded in June 2018, the organization seeks to support local impoverished communities, enhance the university experience for Haitian collegians, and reinforce Haitian-American collaboration through mission trips. The organization will also provide guidance to newcomers and work as a facilitator to promote exchange programs between Haitian and American students.

HAITI SHARE INC

The Haiti Share mission is to facilitate the intellectual, spiritual, and character development of Haitians who demonstrate leadership potential and to assist them in becoming self-supporting, responsible, community-minded members of their society. We see a future with a substantial number of spiritually vibrant, mentally focused, and emotionally mature young Haitians, supporting themselves and their families and reaching out in small groups of like-minded Haitians to relieve the life-crushing burdens of their fellow countrymen and empowering the next generation to do the same. In all our teaching, whether formally or informally we strive to teach and model the “First Principles” of Haiti Share: – Respect – Integrity – Mental Focus – Clear Communication We also strive to impart other essential values such as humility, hard work, responsibility, service, courage, endurance, faithfulness and love. Haiti Share is not church-affiliated but the leadership wholeheartedly believes that God is alive and active in this world today. Above all, we believe in the power of Jesus Christ to transform lives.

HAITIAN AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF BREVARD INC

HAAB’s mission is to serve the Haitian-Americans in Brevard County and the surrounding areas to enhance their quality of life, by building strong community through education, leadership, youth development, and financial empowerment.

HAITI SOLEIL

The mission of Haiti Soleil is to build and develop community-centered public libraries, museums, and other institutions of educational and cultural exchange focused on advancing the intellectual growth of young Haitian citizens. Haiti Soleil spearheads projects on behalf of, and in partnership with, individuals and organizations in Haiti that share similar principles and dedication to the dissemination of knowledge.

The people known as the Haitian American Baptist Church (HABC) Kansas City, Missouri. The purpose of the Haitian American Baptist Church Kansas City Missouri to: Be a people of Worship. The aim of worship shall be to humble ourselves before Creator God, offering praise and adoration to God through the elements of worship, expecting the leading and response of God's Holy Spirit as each person is allowed uniquely to worship in the context community.
