Grown in Haiti (GiH) champions a harmonious future where communities and nature thrive. Since its inception in 2014, GiH has been dedicated to empowering Haitian communities through sustainable and regenerative agroforestry practices. They have transformed landscapes by growing and distributing over 12,000 fruit-bearing trees, restoring soil health, and enhancing biodiversity.
Foundation for Advancement of Haitian Midwives, Inc. Promoting Midwifery in Haiti to help reduce maternal & infant mortality
Plateforme haïtienne de Plaidoyer pour un Développement Alternatif (PAPDA), founded on November 7, 1995, is a coalition bringing together organizations and networks of various types that reject the diagnosis, policies, and exhausted recipes of those who consider themselves masters of the world, such as the G8, the International Financial Institutions (IFIs), transnational companies, and their many collaborators.
La Plateforme des Organisations de Femmes Haïtienne pour le Développement (POFHAD) is a socio-political, nonprofit women’s organization. It was created in Port-au-Prince on May 28, 2014. A feminist structure with a socio-political character that campaigns for respect for women’s rights. It works to provide women with broad access to decision-making spaces so that they can enjoy fair justice. POFHAD brings together several associations working on various themes. Since its creation, POFHAD has worked to promote the rights of Haitian women and their economic progress.
Educ’timoun d’Haïti is an international solidarity organization that works to improve the quality of formal and informal education for schoolchildren in the city of Pays Pourri, Haiti. Through their actions, they contribute to the development of local infrastructure and set up educational and fun activities to promote children’s development. They aim to increase access to quality education, improve their school environment, and support their physical and mental well-being.
