HAITIAN HERITAGE MUSEUM CORP

Founded in 2004 to commemorate Haiti’s Bicentennial, the Haitian Heritage Museum (HHM) is a 501c3 organization that is committed to highlighting and preserving Haiti’s rich culture and heritage globally. Our goal is to provide a cultural Mecca for Little Haiti where individuals outside of our community and within our community boundaries can come to enjoy beautiful Haitian art, historic artifacts, ethnic sounds of Haitian music, view Haitian films and enjoy a collection of Haitian literary works.

HAITIAN AMERICAN HISTORICAL SOCIETY INC

The Haitian American Historical Society (HAHS) is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to studying and verifying the history of the Haitian experience in America. It shares this rich history with the people of North America, especially Haitian youth, in an effort to engender pride in the Haitian community and foster a better understanding of Haitian history throughout North America.

Founded in 2012, The Haitian American Museum of Chicago (HAMOC) is the realization of a dream by its co-founder, Elsie Hernandez, to create an institution that would hold programs and exhibits that will contribute to the rich multicultural tapestry that is Chicago.

HAITIAN ART SOCIETY DC CHAPTER

The Haitian Art Society was formed in 2003 as an international membership organization designed to strengthen and expand interest in, and understanding of, Haitian Art and Artists. The HAS is a thriving community comprised of art collectors, gallerists, museum professionals, scholars, and researchers all connected by a mutual appreciation and affection for Haitian Art.

HAITI PHILATELIC SOCIETY

The Haiti Philatelic Society is dedicated to the dissemination of information about all aspects of the Haitian postal system from the mid 1700’s to the present time. The Society is composed of collectors of all degrees of sophistication from beginners to advanced specialists. HAITI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The Haiti International Film Festival is the premiere platform that showcases quality films in Hollywood, California. We are a niche film festival that specializes in portraying the humanity of Haitian culture through the curation of amazing films from the Haitian Diaspora such as short films, documentaries, and feature films. We are the HBO for Haitian films displaying the humanity of Haitian culture. The Haiti International Film Festival (HIFF) was established in 2015 and is a non-profit corporation with a 501(c)(3) status. The mission is to showcase positive images of Haitian culture through film and art. The goal of the HIFF is to inform diverse audiences about the rich culture of the Haitian diaspora through innovative cinema. Through outreach and collaboration with emerging, and established filmmakers, we not only teach and conduct workshops. We also hold a yearly film festival that builds a stronger ecosystem for Haitian filmmakers through partnerships with non-profit organizations and educational institutions to make a bigger impact in Hollywood and Haiti.

HAITI JAZZ FOUNDATION

The Haiti Jazz Foundation is a private, non-profit organization based in Port-au-Prince (Haiti) and Miami (Florida) dedicated to raising the level of the Haitian music industry using jazz music as a tool. The Foundation provides access to professional musical and technical training, supports music and education, and supports the development of young professionals by offering them various visibility and employment platforms, promotes musical activities, preserves Haitian musical heritage and serves as a channel for the diffusion, evolution and promotion of Creole jazz in Haiti and abroad. The foundation organizes the annual Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival (PAPJAZZ FESTIVAL).

BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN MAKERS IN THE U.S. AND MAKERS IN HAITI IN ORDER TO SHARE SKILLS AND CREATE PRODUCTS WITH A MEANINGFUL IMPACT.GIVING THE CONSUMER THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE THEIR PURCHASING POWER FOR GOOD AND TAKE PART IN THE MOVEMENT OF SLOW FASHION.DEVELOPING CRAFTSMEN AND LEADERS THAT ARE ABLE TO USE THEIR SKILLS TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILIES AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR COMMUNITY.

FOUNDATION TO CHANGE THE IMAGE OF HAITI

Our mission is to help improve the quality of life of impoverished population in Haiti by initiating and supporting programs and services that improve environmental conditions, water and sanitation, and educational services for the people of Haiti. FOCIH works in partnership with local Haitian organizations to provide solutions to the most pressing problems facing communities in Haiti.
