Stichting Jarikin

Jarikin is the family foundation of Jan Prins. It was founded in 1988 as a Charity Foundation with the core activity of financially supporting well-known Charity Foundations in the Netherlands, such as Open Doors and the Dutch Bible Society. Stichting Jarikin focuses on the support and help of school- and street children, orphans and elderly people in Haïti, in terms of food, shelter and education. MMID Foundation has “adopted” several Jarikin children, to make sure they have a better future.

Sustainable Organic Integrated Livelihoods

SOIL is a non-profit research and development organization working in Haiti to design, test, and implement sustainable and equitable solutions to the sanitation crisis. Our mission is to ensure safe, dignified, and sustainable sanitation in urban Haiti, creating a model for urban sanitation which is replicable in Haiti and globally.

Meds & Food for Kids is dedicated to meeting the essential nutritional needs of malnourished children, pregnant and nursing women and school children using Ready-to-Use-Therapeutic Foods (RUTFs) produced in our factory in Cap-Haitien, Haiti.

Inter Aide

Inter Aide specializes in implementing development programs for particularly deprived families. The areas of action, since its creation in 1980, are water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH), agriculture, health and educational support . These programs are implemented in rural areas , particularly isolated , combining high intensity of needs and high population densities , where the presence of NGOs is low and where the context is sufficiently stable to develop actions oriented towards the autonomy of populations in the long term.
