Haiti Healthy Kids provides treatment and care to patients with hydrocephalus and teaches local medical professionals how to care for these children. The long term goals include research to determine the origin of the infectious process mostly likely causing the hydrocephalus and to limit the severity of the individual child’s hydrocephalus by implementing pre and post natal care and newborn follow up.
