WE GIVE DOMINICAN AND HAITIAN YOUTH A SPACE TO LEARN, HEAL, DREAM, BUILD POWER AND TAKE ACTION TOGETHER.

Foundation Toya

La Fondation TOYA is a Haitian feminist nonprofit founded in 2007, inspired by revolutionary leader Victoria "Toya" Montou. Based in Delmas, the foundation empowers girls (8–15) and young women (16–30) through leadership development, capacity building, and psychosocial support. Its programs focus on education, gender equity, and mental health, reaching thousands across Haiti and advocating for a more just and equal society.

NORTHWEST HAITI MINISTRIES, INC.

Northwest Haiti Ministries is a Christian school ministry in the village of Passe Catabois in Northwest Haiti. It was started in 2010 by a Southern Maryland couple, Michael and Sheree Shores, to educate the local unschooled children, after the horrific earthquake that struck Haiti that year. From starting with one 1st Grade class in 2010, the school has grown to 436 students and 45 teachers & staff, providing a Christian education from Pre-K 3 through the 2nd year of high school. It will expand through the final two years of high school by September 2026, with expected enrollment expansion to 475 students, as well as > 50 teachers & staff. The school also provides a full lunch daily for all students and staff. In addition to its educational ministry, NWHM partners with the local Nazarite Baptist Church and the local Dutch hospital ministry in outreach to the community, especially to the widows and the blind.

The Haitian Roundtable

The Haitian Roundtable (“HRT”), founded in 2008, is a not-for-profit organization of Haitian-American professionals committed to civic engagement and strategic initiatives benefiting the Haitian community. The organization seeks to heighten awareness of Haitians as an important constituency among thought leaders and newsmakers, policymakers and institutions through partnerships, programs and events recognizing Haitian excellence. HRT is committed to working collaboratively with the goal of redefining the narrative about Haiti and Haitians. We are guided by our Motto: As Haitians, We Are The Keepers of Our Legacy.

REZO FANM KAPAB DAYITI (REFKAD)

REFKAD provides a space for dialogue and social reconstruction, enabling women, girls, and children affected by violence to better understand their social experiences. This support empowers them to build bridges of solidarity and collectively engage in the pursuit of solutions and the defense of their social and political rights. We also maintain an action-research hub in collaboration with academic institutions specializing in human sciences, gender studies, and development. Furthermore, we strengthen the networking of actions carried out by organizations, groups, and feminist individuals across the country.

Plateforme haïtienne de Plaidoyer pour un Développement Alternatif (PAPDA)

Founded on November 7, 1995, PAPDA, is a coalition bringing together organizations and networks of various types that reject the diagnosis, policies and exhausted recipes of those who consider themselves masters of the world, such as: the G8, the International Financial Institutions (IFIs), transnational companies and their many collaborators.

Educ’timoun d’Haïti

The Educ'timoun association is an international solidarity organization that works to improve the quality of formal and informal education for schoolchildren in the city of Pays Pourri, Haiti. Through our actions, we contribute to the development of local infrastructure and set up educational and fun activities to promote the development of children. Our goal is to increase access to quality education, improve their school environment and support their physical and mental well-being.

Prosjekt Haiti

Prosjekt Haiti is a Norwegian/Haitian organization that has been working in Haiti since 2000. The goal of Prosjekt Haiti is to contribute to a better future for the people associated with our projects, and for Haiti as a nation. We believe that the best way to do this is to give people the knowledge and skills that allow them to improve their own situation. Prosjekt Haiti therefore focuses on education, capacity building and value creation.
