Règ Ayiti

RÈG Ayiti Connect was founded in response to a critical need: too many women and girls in Haiti lack access to accurate menstrual health information and essential hygiene resources. Since our founding, we have strengthened communities through education, workshops, and support programs that directly address local realities. Today, we reach thousands of women each year, giving them the tools they need to live with health and dignity. RÈG Ayiti’s mission is to break the silence and taboos surrounding menstruation and to place the issue of period poverty at the center of public debate, from a perspective of social justice, human dignity, and gender equity.

NORTHWEST HAITI MINISTRIES, INC.

Northwest Haiti Ministries is a Christian school ministry in the village of Passe Catabois in Northwest Haiti. It was started in 2010 by a Southern Maryland couple, Michael and Sheree Shores, to educate the local unschooled children, after the horrific earthquake that struck Haiti that year. From starting with one 1st Grade class in 2010, the school has grown to 436 students and 45 teachers & staff, providing a Christian education from Pre-K 3 through the 2nd year of high school. It will expand through the final two years of high school by September 2026, with expected enrollment expansion to 475 students, as well as > 50 teachers & staff. The school also provides a full lunch daily for all students and staff. In addition to its educational ministry, NWHM partners with the local Nazarite Baptist Church and the local Dutch hospital ministry in outreach to the community, especially to the widows and the blind.
