LOVE HAITI PARTNERSHIP INC

Love Haiti Partnership’s purpose is to provide humanitarian aid and educational opportunities for children in Haiti, with the goal that each child will become a responsible and fulfilled adult. We are dedicated to the long-term development of children living in poverty in Haiti.

LOVING HAITI

Loving Haiti’s story began many years before founders Abby and Denny Bain made their first visit to Haiti in 2011. In 1982, Pastor Francois and Madam Romelus felt called to start a church in their small town of Pignon, caring for those in their congregation as well as the poor and marginalized in the area. Already parents to four biological children, and busy pastoring a church and serving their community, Pastor and Madam began taking in orphans and other at-risk children to live with them. They soon saw the need for a separate home to house the increasing number of children in their care, and the children’s need to be educated. Since 1982, Francois and Madam have added a children’s home, vocational sewing center and school to their 2-acre campus.

LOVING HAITI ONE CHILD AT A TIME

At Loving Haiti One Child at a Time, we like to use every opportunity we have to uplift the Haitian community. We take part in several events and craft shows every year where we display and sell Haitian made metal art which we purchase directly from artisans in Croix- des- Bouquets. This helps to support the local economy and provide sustainable income for the artists. Our organization is committed to improving the lives of children in Haiti through education, healthcare, and community development projects. We believe that every child deserves a chance to reach their full potential and we work towards making that a reality for children in Haiti.

KANPE HAITI

In Haitian Creole, “kanpe” means to stand up. KANPE is a foundation that brings support to the underserved rural communities in Haiti on their path to autonomy. We give the poorest communities in the Plateau Central a voice so that they can express their own needs, priorities, and goals. Our role is to help these communities to be accompanied by Haitian organizations that bring the complementary skills, knowledge, tools, and training necessary to provide guidance on the path to autonomy.

KIDS CONNECTION HAITI INC

All KCH students grew up in economic hardship, whether at an orphanage, homeless, or living in one of Haiti’s most challenging slums. Without parental guidance or community support, these students are on their own to try to create the lives they dream of. Without a stable home, a diploma, a network, or work experience, it is almost impossible to emerge from poverty.

KONBIT HAITI

Konbit Haiti helps communities transform themselves to THRIVE by helping them prevent and recover from disaster. Not a hand up, but a hand across. By taking a restorative and preventative approach, we partner with local leaders and work together to change the way their people respond to change, crisis & prevention based on their assets.

HEARTS AND HANDS FOR HAITI

Hearts and Hands for Haiti (HHH) exists to promote the dignity of Haitian people by coming alongside our Haitian sisters and brothers who share the love of Christ by contributing to their communities' spiritual, educational, physical, emotional and vocational development.

HELP HAITI KIDS INC

Our organization was officially formed in 2006 when we were able to collaborate with the local pastor on the island of Ile a Vache, Haiti in a small fishing village of Caille Coq. We realized that the children were extremely poor, living in small straw like huts. These children didn’t eat on a daily basis and certainly had no education. Our hearts broke for these children. With the God-given vision of a Haitian- born woman who was raised in the States, the members of the organization raised funds to provide the local church a facility for its elementary school.

HELPING HAITIANS IN NEED INC

Helping Haitians in Need, Inc. (HHN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing much needed help to a small, underserved, rural area of Haiti. Haiti is considered the most impoverished country in the western hemisphere with seemingly insurmountable problems in the areas of infrastructure, sanitation, health, economy, and education. While much aid arrived in Haiti following the hurricanes and devastating earthquake of 2010, little if any has gone to areas outside of the capital city of Port-au-Prince. HHN’s focus on the community of Fond des Blancs (Puit Chacha), located several hours southwest of Port-au-Prince allows us to provide efficient support with measurable results while fostering strong relationships with the people and their local leaders.

HELPING HANDS FOR HAITI

Helping Hands for Haiti is a 501c3. We run on prayers and the generosity of others. Because we are made up of everyday people just like you, who understand it is our responsibility to give of ourselves, we encourage you to search your heart and donate if you are so inclined. Prayers always welcome!
